The Gran Chaco range

Inspired by 4 countries

Nature is at the core of our liquor production.

The sugar cane we work with is 100% organic, and is grown and distilled in Paraguay.

In this region traversed by vast expanses of deep forests, rich in fauna and flora, sugar cane benefits from the natural runoff of water and its minerals, essential for the quality of our rums.

Our range of rums is rooted in the Gran Chaco region, where the largestdry forest in the world lays.

The forest spans Latin America: Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, are four countries that have inspired and given their names to our rums.

The Gran Chaco inspires the choice of every detail of our universe, down to the innovative and refined design of our bottles, influenced by the symbols of the ancient civilizations that lived in this region.

Gran Chaco Rum is the true expression of the patience, richness and quality of our know-how.

Our 4 versions

4 flavors

The Gran Chaco Bolivia, the first spiced rum with notes of coca leaves and tobacco.

The Gran Chaco Paraguay, a real rum with orange notes.

The Gran Chaco Brasil, a rum with notes of cocoa and coffee beans.

The Gran Chaco Argentina, a rum with mate tea notes.

Methodology

Process

We work from a 100% organic, Paraguayan sugar cane crop, which benefits from a natural flow of water, heavily loaded with essential minerals.

This contribution is crucial for the final taste of the entire Gran Chaco rum range.

Our rums are then aged in French oak barrels which have previously contributed to the maturation of whisky.

We also use barrels that have contained bourbon, which gives our spiced rum its characteristic taste.

Finally, our rums are filtered according to the Lincoln process.

Their specificity is based on the skillful combination of tropical distillation and continental ageing.

Coca leaf and tobacco leaf

Bolivia is one of the largest producers of coca and tobacco leaves in the world. These aromas inspired our Gran Chaco Bolivia Rum.
For the creation of our bottle, we drew our inspiration from the rich history of Bolivia, and more precisely from the Tiwanaku site which stands there. In the midst of mystical touches representing Inca rites and ceremonies, you will find in particular references to the shamans of the region, venerated for their knowledge and their intoxicating preparations. We also find the motifs of ritual vases, ceremonial masks, and other elements of places of worship. Finally, the purple color, associated with the mystical and the religious, is a
symbol of spirituality and access to the divine.

Orange zest

Paraguay is a major orange producer: we were inspired by this iconic fruit to give its characteristic notes to our Gran Chaco version Paraguay. The west of the country, which is home to the forests of the Gran Chaco, was inhabited by nomadic populations and in particular by the Guaycuru people.
To the east, the region has long been home to the Guaraní natives. We pay homage to them in the design of the bottle of Gran Chaco Paraguay, drawing inspiration from their motifs.

Cocoa nibs and coffee bean

Brazil is very famous for being one of the largest producers of cacao and coffee in the world. It was natural for us to associate these notes with our Gran Chaco Brazil Rum. The design of the bottle was inspired by Brazilian wildlife: the patterns represent some of Brazil's most emblematic animals. The color green was chosen to represent the country and suggest the natural habitat of
its wildlife.

Mate tea

Mate tea is an iconic drink of Argentina, so we wanted to include it in our Gran Chaco Argentina Rum.
For this version of our rum, we were inspired by nature and the lush landscapes of Argentina.
The patterns on our bottle trace the path of nature, at the heart and source of our production: from the earth, where the rich flora of the Gran Chaco is rooted, to the sky. The design also evokes serenity and the call of the night: through the deep blue of the bottle, evoking the sun setting behind the mountain and the phases of the moon and the sun.
